The Paradise Movie Plot

Set in the 1980s, The Paradise tells the story of a marginalised tribe living in a slum colony named Paradise in Secunderabad. The members of the tribe don't receive basic fundamental rights and are considered as outsiders even in the city they live in. The film would showcase how the people belonging to this tribe struggle against discrimination and how they fight to get recognition as citizens.

Somewhere in this backdrop, they seem to find an unlikely leader. That's all the information revealed about The Paradise till date.

Who is The Paradise movie for?

If you liked Srikanth Odela's directorial debut Dasara, The Paradise would surely grab your attention. It's also a must watch for all Nani fans.

The Paradise Movie Review: What to Expect

After making a grand debut with Dasara, Srikanth Odela teams up with Nani once again for The Paradise. Odela previously worked as an assistant director to Sukumar for Rangasthalam. Judging from his first two directorial ventures, it seems like gritty, grounded stories interest the filmmaker.

For Dasara, Odela chose to tell the story of a young man from a village beside a coal mine. The film witnessed Nani giving one of the most transformative performances of his career till date. The actor shed his glamorous avatar and donned a coal-dusted look down to the minutest details.

In The Paradise, Nani plays the character of Jadal, who is also called Sarakka by the people belonging to the slum. Judging from the tagline, "Jadal Zamana Shuru", featured in the teaser, the character seems to bring about some kind of change.

Odela's previous film Dasara showcased the actor sporting a rugged avatar. Judging from the first look posters and the teaser, it seems like Nani has once again donned a rough look for The Paradise.

The film features Nani opposite Mohan Babu, who plays the character of Shikanja Maalik. The veteran actor would play the father of Vikram Maalik, who is played by Raghav Juyal. Kayadu Lohar, who impressed everyone with her performance in the Tamil starrer Dragon (2025), plays the character of Subbu in The Paradise.

Sonali Kulkarni, Sampoornesh Babu (as Biriyani), Priyadarshi (as MLA Shankaranna), and Tanikella Bharani feature in supporting roles in the film.

Anirudh Ravichander composes the music for The Paradise. The singer-cum-composer previously lent his musical brilliance to Nani-starrer Jersey and Gang Leader. Judging from the teaser, it seems like Anirudh has composed a heavy track for this period drama.

Raghav Juyal played the antagonist in the Hindi action entertainer Kill.
